PETS AT TOWER LODGE

At Tower Lodge, our mission is to ensure every guest enjoys a luxurious and relaxing experience. To maintain our high standards, we have implemented the following Pet Policy.

External restaurant guests​

While we understand that pets are part of the family, to maintain the restaurant's atmosphere and comfort for all patrons, we do not allow pets to join external guests visiting our restaurant. Of course, authorised service animals are always accommodated. Please notify us in advance if you will be accompanied by a service animal.

In-house guests

Our Pooch Package has been implemented to accommodate in-house guests travelling with their furry friends. Details and terms of our Pooch Package are outlined below, please consider these when planning your stay.

POOCH PACKAGE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Our guests travelling with their pet/s need to understand that when staying at Tower Lodge:

  • Only pet dogs are eligible to stay on-site

  • There is one suite on the property available for pet stays, this is a Grand suite that has a fully enclosed courtyard

  • A limit of two pets applies to any stay

  • A weight limit of 15kg per pet applies

  • The following dangerous breeds are not permitted: American pit bull or pit bull terriers, Japanese Tosas, Dogo Argentino (Argentinean fighting dogs), Fila Brasileiro (Brazilian fighting dogs), Perro de Presa Canario or Presa Canario

  • There are additional charges for pet stays: $120 per night for one pet, and $200 per night for two pets, this fee includes the provision of bedding and bowls for your pet/s

  • Pets must always remain on a lead when outside the suite and its courtyard

  • Pets are not permitted in any other suite or inside the main Lodge building (lounge & restaurant), except for walking through the reception area on arrival and departure

  • Pets are not permitted in the pool area

  • Owners will need to supply food for their pets

  • On arrival owners will need to sign a waiver agreeing to the following:

As a responsible pet owner, you:

  • Agree to accept full responsibility for any and all damages and/or unusual degree of soiling caused by my pet during my stay at Tower Lodge. The hotel accepts no responsibility for a pet or pet owner who does not follow the items listed on this waiver

  • Understand that the costs for the repair of any damages or additional cleaning requirements (including labour) will be charged accordingly. This includes flea treatment of the guest suite

  • Acknowledge that all pets are limited to their allocated suite and if taken outside will need to be on a lead and that they are not permitted in the Restaurant or Lounge area unless dining outside

  • Acknowledge that my pet will be outside while housekeeping services the room

  • Understand that my pooch must relieve itself, and I will use doggy bags to pick up all the remnants. I will also pick up any remnants left by my pet in the confines of the hotel’s grounds

  • Acknowledge that my pet has received, and is up to date with, all required shots & immunisations. I can produce these records either before or after my stay if needed. I acknowledge that my pet’s current registration with a relevant council is also up to date

  • Understand that I will be charged $120 per day ($200 per day for two) to have my pet stay with me during my stay. This fee is non-refundable

  • Acknowledge that barking, biting, and other harmful and nuisance behaviours will not be tolerated. If there is a problem, I may be asked to leave the hotel without reimbursement

  • Acknowledge that my pooch is allowed inside the allocated guest suite on the pet bedding supplied, however, not on the furniture, beds and couches
